Many attendees left convinced that the film’s brilliance could only be fully appreciated with ultra high definition remastering. Supporters argued that details such as the infamous dining room scene, the costumes of the goblins and the emotional intensity of every line delivery could be elevated with modern restoration technology.
One fan explained that Troll 2 represents an “overlooked classic” of the horror genre.
